IT Support Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous 1st/2nd line IT Support or Helpdesk experience
• Experience using IT service/helpdesk ticketing systems
• Experience working in an IT helpdesk or technical support environment
• Comfortable dealing directly with users at all levels

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users
• Log, manage and resolve support tickets through a helpdesk system
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware and network issues
• Install, maintain and repair laptops, PCs, tablets, printers, phones and other IT equipment
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID and MFA
• Assist with user account administration, onboarding and leaver processes
• Prepare and configure equipment for new starters
• Support mobile devices across iOS and Android
• Assist with software updates, device management and security updates
• Support Intune and Windows deployment processes
• Assist with laptop imaging and device builds
• Monitor and escalate backup-related issues
• Carry out regular checks of meeting room and IT equipment
• Work with third-party suppliers and technology vendors where required
• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories
• Support the wider IT team with ongoing projects and improvements
