Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience working with investment accounting, portfolio management, investment operations, or financial data across asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Forwards, Futures, Cash, Positions, Settlements, General Ledger, NAV, Corporate Actions, Pricing, and Benchmark data.
  • Experience supporting software implementation projects, data onboarding initiatives, platform migrations, or enterprise data services programs within the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of investment management operating models and the lifecycle of investment data from front office through accounting, performance, reporting, and downstream consumers.
  • Proven experience conducting client workshops and requirements gathering sessions to elicit, document, validate, and prioritize business, functional, and data requirements.
  • Strong data analysis and data mapping skills, including creation of source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data dictionaries, business rules, and cross-reference documentation.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion frameworks, and data integration solutions used to acquire, transform, and load data between systems.
  • Ability to analyze source system data structures and reconcile data between upstream platforms, operational systems, and target data warehouses.
  • Experience performing data profiling, root-cause analysis, data quality assessments, exception resolution, and reconciliation activities.
  • Understanding of data governance concepts including data quality, metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, stewardship, controls, and ownership.
  • Strong understanding of relational data models, dimensional data modeling concepts, and data warehouse architectures including fact and dimension structures.
  • Knowledge of security master, reference data, benchmark data, pricing data, corporate actions, positions, transactions, and performance measurement data domains.
  • Familiarity with data lineage, traceability, impact analysis, and end-to-end data flow documentation.
  • Working knowledge of data structures and data models within investment platforms such as Aladdin, CRIMS, Charles River, Eagle, or other Front Office and Investment Management platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries, joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries, and validation scripts.
  • Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats including SQL tables, CSV, XML, JSON, and Parquet.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations, file-based interfaces, data exchange patterns, and system integration concepts.
  • Experience supporting System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing, data validation, and production readiness activities.
  • Understanding of conversion, migration, cutover, and implementation activities associated with large-scale data onboarding programs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language and vice versa.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments utilizing tools such as JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative, global environment with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the integration of new data services and sources by participating in requirement gathering, testing, and support of newly developed features as part of our products scaled agile teams.
  • Work as a member of the Client Implementation Team with development teams and the Project Manager to help establish project delivery plans and delivery estimates for projects involving integration of client middle or back-office data.
  • Guide clients on required reference data and other setups and mapping as part of initial client implementations.
  • Define and maintain standards around data ingestion, enrichment, and validation of client portfolio data into our Enterprise Data Management solution.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of the functional capabilities inherent to our existing and emerging data platform.
  • Document product specifications and prepare business cases to drive development in scaled agile rooms.
  • Capture ongoing enhancements to scope of services for existing clients as needed into the roadmap.
  • Create and maintain client-facing documentation.
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the service offering to perform subject matter expert activities, including consultancy, implementation configuration, and demonstrations.
