ICT System Manager

Salary: £41,177 - 45,529 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to develop into the role.
• Experience supporting, administering, developing, or managing ICT systems and services would be beneficial.
• Exposure to areas such as system administration, procurement and contract management, user training, change management, system configuration, incident management, and problem management would be beneficial.
• We will assess candidates against the NFCC Leadership Framework, and you may be required to demonstrate competence at any level up to and including the highest level relevant to the role.
• You must be able to attend an interview that includes behavioural and role-specific questions, as well as a question on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).

Responsibilities:

• We will take ownership of a portfolio of related ICT systems and help ensure they remain secure, effective, and aligned to organisational and user requirements.
• We will ensure our systems are correctly procured and that supplier contracts are well managed.
• Working with our users and suppliers, we will ensure systems are resilient, meet our required service levels, and deliver value for money.
• As part of our wider ICT team, we will work with service colleagues to resolve issues and deliver change.
• We will ensure user guides and procedures are correct and up to date.
• We will ensure staff are suitably trained in the operation of our systems.
• We will contribute to key system delivery projects within the Service.
