Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Deep experience architecting Business Central or NAV-to-Business Central solutions at enterprise scale, ideally across multiple entities and countries
• Practical AL extension development experience, including extensions, events, interfaces, and custom APIs
• Strong functional knowledge of core ERP processes
• Integration experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Integration Services, and APIs
• ALM and CI/CD experience for Business Central using Azure DevOps and Git
• Strong Power Platform knowledge, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Experience leading and mentoring developers
• Regulated or GxP experience, ideally in medical device or pharmaceutical distribution

Responsibilities:

• Own the full D365 Business Central architecture, target state, design principles, and standards
• Review, challenge, and approve solution designs from partners, ISVs, and third-party developers
• Reduce technical debt and move the platform towards a clean, supportable, upgrade-ready design
• Lead solution design across finance, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, distribution, and order-to-cash, including lot and serial traceability, expiry control, and UDI
• Design secure, resilient integrations with D365 CE, Azure, SAP, EDI, 3PL systems, and Microsoft 365
• Build performance, scalability, security, and segregation of duties into the platform for high transaction volumes
• Ensure the platform meets GxP, audit trail, and validation requirements for a regulated business
• Partner with senior stakeholders and identify opportunities across Business Central and the Power Platform

Were undertaking an ambitious, multi-year transformation programme and are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own the architecture of our live Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, which supports core finance, supply chain, and distribution operations. Youll help us scale the platform for growth, new entities, and acquisitions across multiple countries, set technical direction, challenge implementation partners, work closely with the business, and lead a strong development team in an Agile, product-based delivery model. This is a permanent, full-time remote role.
