Data Lead

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading data workstreams within large-scale business and technology transformation programmes.
• Experience in data governance, stewardship, quality management, lineage, cataloguing and control frameworks.
• Experience in data migration planning, source-to-target mapping, cleansing, reconciliation and readiness assessment.
• Experience managing analysts and coordinating third-party suppliers against critical programme deadlines.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, architects, integration teams and system implementation partners.
• Experience reporting programme readiness, risks and decisions within formal governance structures.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover and hypercare activities from a data perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and collaborative leadership skills.
• Degree qualified in Data, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant certifications in data management, governance, architecture, analysis or project delivery are desirable.
• SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA programme experience is a significant advantage.
• Salesforce experience is a significant advantage.
• Experience in logistics, fleet, order-and-dispatch or operational platforms is a significant advantage.
• Experience in construction materials, manufacturing or industrial environments is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the integrated Falcon data roadmap, managing milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Lead a team of three Data Analysts, providing direction, coaching and quality oversight.
• Champion our data governance and delivery standards throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, standards and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders.
• Oversee data discovery, profiling and quality assessments across multiple source systems.
• Govern data mapping, transformation, cleansing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate business, technical and supplier teams to align data requirements with process and solution design.
• Plan and manage migration cycles, mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover activities and hypercare support.
• Provide clear reporting on data readiness, risks and quality issues to programme leadership and governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement and leave behind stronger governance, controls and reusable best practices for future deployment waves.
