Data Architect

Salary: £90,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• 6+ years experience in Data Architecture/Engineering
• Strong experience designing scalable data and application architectures
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data warehouses and data lakes/lakehouses
• Experience with APIs, integrations and enterprise systems
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure
• Strong SQL and Python knowledge
• Understanding of data governance, security, privacy and data quality
• Experience supporting data requirements for AI/ML applications
• Comfortable working hands-on with engineers and making pragmatic architectural decisions

Responsibilities:

• Design and evolve data and technical architecture across AI products
• Define how applications, data, APIs, models and enterprise systems connect
• Design data models, pipelines, storage and governance frameworks
• Build reusable data capabilities, services and technical components
• Set standards across APIs, integration, deployment and observability
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security and data teams
• Help ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable

We are recruiting for a Data Architect to join our organisation, which is investing heavily in AI and developing a portfolio of proprietary AI products. This role is based in London on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week in the office, and offers a salary of up to £100k plus bonus and benefits.
