Job Description

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in compliance engineering, particularly within the modular data center industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Europe and provincial requirements and regulations, with experience in international areas.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards, including egress, seismic, working space, hurricane, and fire rating requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey a high level of expertise and confidence when interacting with customers.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist our engineering design team during the design phase by helping them understand compliance processes and unique requirements stemming from state and provincial regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Europe state and provincial requirements, including egress, seismic, working space, hurricane, and fire rating specifications.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of modular data center designs and operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement safety and compliance programs aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to integrate safety and compliance considerations into all phases of the modular data center lifecycle.
  • Communicate with customers confidently and with a high degree of expertise on compliance-related matters.
  • Stay updated on compliance and regulation amendments in the industry and conduct training sessions to keep our team informed.
  • Create and maintain safety and compliance documentation, including reports, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform regular safety audits and inspections to identify safety hazards and non-compliance issues, and develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Work closely with our factory compliance engineer to complete the state certification process for Europe factories.
