Backend Engineer

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

• Willingness to learn, even if you do not have much experience in our stack or have not worked on the frontend recently

Responsibilities:

• Join our Send Core team to help build the critical infrastructure behind every sending transaction
• Help make sending money as easy and fast as paying for groceries with a card
• Maintain the core infrastructure that supports sending transactions across the platform
• Build customer-facing products that power the customer send journey
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver the best experience for our customers
• Own the systems that every sending transaction depends on
• Make architectural decisions for core send components to keep them reliable and performant
