Applied Value Engineer

Salary: £37,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:

• Executive-facing presales or value engineering experience, with 2+ years supporting technical close and AI transformation narratives
• Proven experience in accountable Proof-of-Value execution, ROI/TCO modeling, and presenting visionary solutions to business problems
• Solid knowledge of core business processes and industry landscapes, such as supply chain or finance
• Proficiency in Python, API design, SQL, data integration, and ML/AI libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and Hugging Face Transformers
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI setups, including LLM orchestration, tool use/function calling, RAG, agents, prompt engineering, or agentic patterns for enterprise workflows
• Experience with model deployment, monitoring, MLOps/LLMOps, and lifecycle management across cloud services such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, or GCP Vertex AI
• Understanding of cloud reference architectures, identity and access, data governance, privacy, and compliance
• Applied knowledge of linear and nonlinear optimization, statistical analysis, reinforcement learning, and forecasting is a plus
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders, including executives
• Flawless English with exceptional executive presence
• A Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, business engineering, business information, or related fields, or equivalent work experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose customer strategy and key operational challenges with our most strategic global accounts
• Discover and build tailored, domain-specific use cases
• Architect and prototype state-of-the-art AI and technical solutions on the Celonis platform
• Translate domain expertise, product knowledge, and customer requirements into project execution
• Execute technical discovery and prototype bespoke AI solutions for industry-specific operational pain points
• Drive the end-to-end execution of business-critical Proof-of-Value projects
• Deliver secure, scalable LLM and agent systems with RAG, tools, and guardrails, integrated with enterprise data, identity, and compliance frameworks
• Maintain active technical and advisory involvement with strategic accounts until agreed-upon value, adoption thresholds, and operational transformations are achieved
• Leverage domain expertise to build industry-specific end-to-end solutions
• Contribute to codifying reusable methodology and assets to accelerate team-wide time-to-value
• Demonstrate business impact to C-suite executives and ensure successful implementation, adoption, and value realization
