IT Project Manager
Job Description
Salary: £49,000 - 56,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience delivering multiple IT projects simultaneously in a commercial environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing projects across multi-site organisations
- Understanding of change management principles and the impact of change on dispersed operational teams
- Demonstrable experience in project planning, scheduling, risk management and budget control
- Ability to develop and manage project plans from high-level roadmaps through to detailed delivery activities
- Experience facilitating project workshops, reviews and stakeholder meetings
- Excellent communication, presentation and written documentation skills
- Experience in retail, construction, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or another commercially focused sector
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and deliver in a busy project environment
- A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, PMP or equivalent is desirable
- Experience delivering infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, CRM or business systems projects is desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and cloud-based environments is desirable
- Manage multiple concurrent IT projects through the full project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers and project documentation
- Lead project governance activities, including steering group meetings, project reviews and stakeholder updates
- Provide timely, accurate reporting to the Senior Project Manager and Head of Project Delivery
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests
- Follow appropriate escalation processes
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders across business divisions and locations
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party suppliers to achieve project objectives
- Manage project budgets and track expenditure against agreed forecasts
- Facilitate project workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and delivery reviews
- Support business change activities to encourage successful adoption of new systems and processes
- Ensure projects follow our governance and project management standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our project delivery methodologies and best practices
- Deliver projects from initiation through implementation and handover, to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards

Our small, effective IT Project Management function works collaboratively across a fast-paced business and supports operations at multiple locations. The role is based in Doncaster with hybrid working, typically two to three days per week in the office, and offers the opportunity to contribute to technology initiatives including infrastructure, networks, systems, cybersecurity, data, relocations and wider transformation.
