Salary: £70,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:
  • You have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, plus relevant experience in cloud, data platforms, analytics, databases, AI, infrastructure, IT consulting or support, systems administration, data engineering, database administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting; equivalent experience is also accepted.
  • You have hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise data platforms, such as lakehouse, analytics, or database platforms, on Azure, including experience with at least one of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, or Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
  • You are fluent in English for business.
  • You have experience in a customer-facing role with internal and/or external customers.
  • You have experience contributing to or delivering technical projects.
  • You have a relevant technical certification in cloud, data, analytics, database, AI, or security technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Azure Cosmos DB, or an equivalent certification.
  • You have hands-on experience building and optimizing data-intensive solutions, including applying AI-assisted development approaches alongside technical knowledge and judgment.
  • You have experience contributing to the design or delivery of a trusted data foundation for agentic AI applications.
  • You have experience working with globally distributed customers or stakeholders and coordinating delivery across countries, time zones, and cultures.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage customer IT and business leaders to understand data estates, AI priorities, governance needs, success measures, and business outcomes, and design secure, scalable Cloud & AI Data solutions for unified, governed, AI-ready data estates.
  • Lead architecture design, create Data & AI platform roadmaps, and drive proofs of concept, pilots, and production milestones across analytics, databases, Fabric, Foundry, Microsoft IQ, and agent-enabled scenarios.
  • Own technical delivery for engagements, partnering with technical and non-technical roles to ensure Azure consumption and customer ambitions are planned and met.
  • Use and contribute reusable intellectual property, templates, frameworks, and agents to accelerate deployment, improve consistency, grow Data share, and support Azure consumption outcomes.
  • Lead workload health, resiliency, sovereignty, security, capacity management, and optimization for mission-critical data workloads and production-scale AI and agent use cases.
  • Resolve technical blockers and adoption issues, and share customer and field feedback with product and engineering teams to improve platform readiness and outcomes.
  • Maintain advanced proficiency in priority workloads, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Data Governance Solutions, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft IQ, along with market and competitive insights.
  • Contribute to communities, share reusable learnings, and mentor others while maintaining a growth mindset.

The role is listed in the United Kingdom across multiple locations, is full-time, and involves one day per week in the office and 25–50% travel. The typical annual base pay range is £61,900–£105,500 in the United Kingdom and €65,100–€110,000 in the Netherlands; eligible roles may also include benefits and other compensation.
