Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 68,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product role within an agile environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional product squad with engineering, design, and delivery teams
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and product development practices
- Ability to write clear user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with a Product Manager and translate strategic direction into squad execution
- Comfortable making decisions, balancing trade-offs, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Own and manage the product backlog for the squad, ensuring priorities are clear, aligned, and well understood
- Make day-to-day prioritisation and scope decisions within agreed product goals and guardrails
- Balance customer value, business priorities, technical considerations, and delivery constraints when making prioritisation decisions
- Ensure backlog items are sufficiently refined, understood, and ready for development
- Ensure delivered work meets agreed acceptance criteria and contributes to desired customer and business outcomes
- Use delivery metrics, customer feedback, and product performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Translate product direction, customer needs, and business requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
