Golang Full Stack Developer

Salary: £37,000 - 77,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require strong commercial experience with Golang/Go.
• We require strong experience with React.js/Next.js and TypeScript.
• We require solid experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• We require good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• We require experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• We require experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• We require hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We require good understanding of Git and CI/CD.
• We require understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and OIDC.
• We require strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• We consider experience with Envoy, NGINX, HAProxy, F5, Traefik, or other proxies/API gateways desirable.
• We consider knowledge of TLS/mTLS, SNI, ALPN, and certificate management desirable.
• We consider experience with API Gateway and cloud-native networking desirable.
• We consider experience with OpenAPI/Swagger desirable.
• We consider experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput applications desirable.
• We require five days onsite in Glasgow.

Responsibilities:

• We develop scalable, high-performance applications using Golang.
• We design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• We build responsive, dynamic front-end applications using React.js/Next.js and TypeScript.
• We integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and services.
• We design and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
• We develop secure, scalable cloud-native applications.
• We write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• We participate in architecture, design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• We troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• We work closely with product managers, architects, QA, and other engineering teams.
• We contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Golang experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and back-end services.
