IT First-Line Support

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk or customer service environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, mobile devices and Microsoft applications
• Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools
• A customer-focused approach and genuine desire to help others
• Ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure
• An IT qualification or relevant studies would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email and service desk systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Log and manage incidents and service requests accurately
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams
• Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions
• Support desktops, laptops, mobile phones and tablets
• Assist with hardware deployment and software installations
• Keep users updated on progress and resolutions
• Contribute to knowledge base documentation and process improvements

We are recruiting an IT First Line Support Analyst to join a busy Service Delivery team supporting colleagues across the business. This is a temporary, full-time assignment based entirely in our Bedford office, with an immediate start available, paying £16.00 per hour.
