Senior PHP Developer - Contract

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, PHPUnit, and Git/GitHub
• Ideally, experience with some of Vue.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and SaaS
• Strong hands-on PHP and Laravel skills, with the ability to contribute across the wider application when needed
• UK-based contractors only

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve backend services and product functionality across our SaaS platform
• Carry out hands-on PHP and Laravel development
• Build and integrate REST APIs
• Work with MySQL and relational databases
• Improve performance, scalability, and the application
• Write automated tests with PHPUnit
• Contribute to Vue.js and TypeScript development where required
• Work within an AWS, Docker, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD environment

Were looking for a Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to join our established engineering team working on a successful global SaaS platform. This is a hands-on contract role focused on PHP and Laravel, with an initial duration of three months and an immediate or ASAP start. The rate is £350–£375 per day, outside IR35. The role is based in Northampton, with one day per week onsite and four days remote. Were seeking contractors based in the UK who are available immediately or at short notice.
