MI Analyst

Salary: £28,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in management information and analytics, including designing dashboards and reporting products, developing robust data models, defining trusted metrics, and creating governed reporting assets for senior stakeholder decision-making.
• Proven experience building management information, dashboards, and reporting packs for AI adoption, technology delivery, or transformation programmes.
• Experience defining baselines, KPIs, benefits measures, and value-tracking methodologies.
• Confidence using data manipulation, transformation, analysis, and visualisation tools, including Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft 365, Teams, or GitHub data sources.
• Knowledge of project methodologies, SDLC processes, and delivery performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Experience delivering actionable insights that support business and technology decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI adoption, value, and benefits tracking across the programme.
• Develop and maintain management information, reporting, and actionable insights.
• Provide clear CIO-level reporting and visibility of programme performance.
• Define and enhance measurement frameworks, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish reporting standards and data quality controls to ensure reliable, trusted information.
• Support governance processes through meaningful analysis and recommendations.

Were hiring an MI Analyst for our brand-new AI Hub in Edinburgh, reporting to our Delivery Lead and working with programme leaders, senior stakeholders, and technical colleagues. The role contributes to maturing management information, measurement, and value tracking for our AI SDLC Programme, helping provide visibility of AI adoption, delivery performance, and value realisation. This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Edinburgh office for at least three days a week, with some flexibility to work from home.
