Managing Consultant - E&U - Data Science

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data science leadership and/or consulting, ideally in energy, utilities, or infrastructure
• Experience leading the development of AI, advanced analytics, data, and/or digital capabilities to design, build, deploy, and scale analytics products and solutions
• Strong leadership skills, including experience managing teams and delivering complex, high-value programmes and projects
• An established network of senior stakeholders in energy, utilities, infrastructure, data, or technology, with a proven ability to build long-term client relationships and partnerships
• Commercial acumen and a track record of developing and selling consulting or data-driven analytical propositions or products
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence at senior level
• Deep understanding of the analytics, data, AI, digital technology, and solutions landscape
• A degree, masters, or PhD in data science, mathematics, operational research, physics, or statistics
• Desirable: Experience in the software or product development lifecycle for analytical solutions, including discovery, development or prototyping, rollout, implementation, and managed services
• Desirable: Existing relationships and a proven track record delivering work in water, electricity, gas, nuclear, or infrastructure sectors

Responsibilities:

• Be part of our management team and build and lead teams to shape and launch data and analytics propositions and drive strategic business growth
• Lead business development initiatives, build trusted client relationships, own outcomes, and deliver innovative, high-impact solutions
• Guide our energy and utilities clients through complex digital and data challenges, combining strategic insight with technical expertise
• Support our teams growth through technical leadership, coaching, knowledge-sharing, and creating opportunities for team members to thrive
• Contribute to thought leadership and market offerings that position us at the forefront of digital innovation in consumer markets
