Automation Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in process improvement, workflow automation, or automation engineering
• Experience with UiPath and/or Celonis
• Experience with AI-enabled workflow technologies or Agentic AI
• Familiarity with API integrations and workflow orchestration
• Experience working across Process, Data, and AI disciplines
• 3 years experience in a client-facing or consulting environment
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or Azure AI would be advantageous
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field would be advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Analyse end-to-end business processes and identify automation opportunities
• Design future-state processes focused on efficiency, user experience, and risk
• Build workflow automation solutions using low-code, RPA, and AI-enabled technologies
• Support testing, deployment, and operational handover of automation solutions
• Work with automation tools including UiPath and Celonis
• Assess where Agentic AI can add value beyond traditional automation
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows with appropriate controls and governance
• Define KPIs and measures to track process improvement and benefits
• Support continuous optimisation following deployment
