IT Helpdesk Technician

Salary: £28,000 - 28,000 per year

Requirements:

• Preferably up to 12 months of experience in a 1st line support role within a medium to large organization
• Multi-site experience would be a distinct advantage, with confidence in remote access support
• A motivated and enthusiastic approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with a personable and approachable manner

Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive first-line and second-line IT support to UK employees through ServiceNow, telephone, email, remote support tools, and face-to-face assistance
• Take day-to-day ownership of the helpdesk queue by logging, triaging, prioritising, resolving, and escalating incidents and service requests within agreed service levels
• Deliver hands-on IT support at the assigned site and provide planned support visits to other UK locations when required
• Install, configure, maintain, and securely manage workplace technology, including computers, mobile devices, telephony, printers, scanners, and network-connected equipment
• Maintain reliable access to corporate services while following security, operational, and documentation standards
• Work closely with UK IT, Regional IT, Corporate IT, site management, business users, suppliers, and equipment manufacturers
• Support onsite activities, helpdesk management, computer deployment and lifecycle, mobile device management, Microsoft 365 and collaboration, and network support
