Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including migration into a new or empty greenfield tenant.
• Mandatory hands-on Quest migration experience, with prior use of Quest migration tooling on migration projects.
• Strong Active Directory and hybrid environment experience, including identity, synchronisation, and migration activities.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, security, governance, and compliance, with experience implementing best-practice solutions.
• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 migrations following a company merger, acquisition, or consolidation.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside internal teams and MSPs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration, moving users, data, identities, and services into the new empty tenant.
• Utilise Quest migration tooling as a key part of the migration and transition process.
• Support the migration across the hybrid Active Directory/Microsoft 365 environment, troubleshooting identity and synchronisation issues.
• Design and implement the new Microsoft 365 tenant architecture, ensuring the environment is secure, scalable, and aligned with best practice.
• Establish and maintain appropriate security, governance, and compliance standards within the new Microsoft 365 environment.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, MSPs, and technical teams, providing hands-on technical guidance, documentation, and support throughout the migration.

We are supporting a customer seeking an experienced M365 Engineer to join a major Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration and greenfield implementation following a company merger. The role is based in High Wycombe on a hybrid basis, with 2 days per week onsite, and is inside IR35. This is an ASAP requirement, so candidates who are immediately available or able to start at short notice are highly desirable. There is also a referral incentive of up to £1,000 for a successful referral, subject to terms.
