Requirements:

• Strong Java development background.
• Commercial telecoms, VoIP or unified communications experience.
• Experience developing SIP or call-handling applications.
• Exposure to telecom application frameworks such as Rhino SLEE, JAIN SLEE, SIP Servlets or Oracle OCCAS.
• Understanding of cloud-based service platforms.
• Experience working within Agile software engineering environments.
• Contact centre platforms experience is desirable.
• Experience with Speech AI, conversational AI or voice automation technologies is desirable.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices is desirable.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based voice and call service applications.
• Build functionality within large-scale telecoms and contact centre environments.
• Work with cloud-based voice service platforms and communications technologies.
• Support integrations with Speech AI and conversational AI services.
• Contribute to the development of a new strategic communications platform.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable voice solutions.
