IT Support Specialist

Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year

• Solid macOS software and hardware support experience.
• Experience with MDM tools such as Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar.
• Identity and access management experience, including Google Workspace, SSO, and other SaaS platforms.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise without hand-holding.
• Able to write and maintain scripts to help with daily tasks.
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Copilot is a nice to have.
• Networking fundamentals, including VLANs, firewalls, switches, and VPN concepts, are a nice to have.
• Any Slack bot, webhook, or internal tooling project is a nice to have.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote end-user support.
• Administer our core IT systems, including Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Jira, and more.
• Manage access and devices across a mostly macOS environment.
• Contribute to internal tooling projects.
• Manage macOS devices via Kandji MDM, including deployments, policies, and our custom OpenVPN setup.
• Act as the gatekeeper for access management, including onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissions.
• Provide AV support for meeting rooms, all-hands, event spaces, and office technology.
• Support Slack and Jira-based IT requests, triage issues, and resolve them efficiently.
• Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistently.
• Support 25 Windows devices via Intune alongside our primary macOS environment.
• Use available platforms to automate common requests and reduce toil.
