Job Description
Salary: £62,000 - 82,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience delivering applied data science or machine learning projects end-to-end, including feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and iteration.
- Strong experience developing solutions in Python, with good practices around code structure, testing, and version control.
- Experience translating business problems into analytical approaches and designing modelling strategies.
- Azure experience would be an advantage, although we are cloud agnostic.
- Can suit candidates with as little as 4 years of experience.
- Lead the delivery of analytical and machine learning workstreams, ensuring models and outputs are robust, repeatable, and aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, architects, and product teams to ensure analytical outputs are technically sound and ready for operational use.
- Uphold best practices in coding, documentation, reproducibility, version control, and model assurance.
- Occasionally mentor more junior peers.

We are hiring for a BI Analyst/Lead role based in London. This is a hybrid position, with two days a week near London Bridge, although some weeks may only require one day in the office. The role is titled as a Lead because you will own your workstream and put your own stamp on the work, but you will not be leading a team. The salary is 64K base plus a 5% bonus, with half of the bonus guaranteed and the other half usually achieved. We offer a fantastic environment and great people, and you will work on interesting initiatives in a cloud-agnostic setting, with Azure experience being a plus.
