Software Engineer / Consultant Android Linux C++

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience developing software using C / C++ for cross-platform use; Java will also be considered.
• Good understanding of embedded Linux and Android build systems.
• Familiarity with networking programming, protocol design, compression, security, and multithreaded programming.
• Experience with both application and embedded development, including areas such as IoT and set-top boxes.
• Commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence demonstrating products to senior stakeholders and working with clients on bespoke development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support customers with the technical integration and bespoke application development of our core software products.
• Partner with clients to understand their needs and present solutions.
• Articulate requirements to our engineering team.
• Agree detailed specifications and coordinate delivery to customers.
• Collaborate and problem solve within our R&D environment using cutting-edge technology.
• Develop new ideas and prototypes with potential to become new product lines.
• Collaborate closely with our sales team.
• Travel to trade shows and exhibitions to demonstrate our product and drive customer engagement.
