Business Applications Developer

Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require commercial experience developing with C# and .NET.
• We require strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
• We require experience working with SQL Server and relational databases.
• We require experience developing or integrating REST APIs.
• We require an understanding of source control systems such as Git.
• We require experience working in an Agile development environment.
• We require strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a development team.
• Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform knowledge is desirable.
• Azure development and cloud services experience is desirable.
• JavaScript or TypeScript experience is desirable.
• Modern front-end development experience using React, TSX, Fluent UI and related technologies is desirable.
• Technical documentation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We develop, maintain and enhance .NET applications, services and integrations.
• We investigate and resolve software defects, performance issues and technical problems.
• We work with APIs, data integrations and validation services.
• We contribute to new product development and ongoing platform improvements.
• We participate in sprint planning, code reviews and release activities.
• We create and maintain technical documentation where required.
• We work closely with other developers, product owners and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• We assist with technical investigations relating to customer-reported issues where required.

We are looking for a Business Applications Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for a developer with strong .NET skills who enjoys problem solving, debugging complex issues, and building business applications that deliver real value to customers. You will work on our suite of data quality and validation products, developing new features, maintaining existing solutions, and investigating technical issues across a range of Microsoft technologies. While experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse would be advantageous, we are primarily looking for a strong developer with excellent troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn. We offer a salary of £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year, along with casual dress, company events, company pension, on-site parking, private medical insurance, and work from home. The role is based in a hybrid remote arrangement in Chester CH2 4NE.
