Salary: £45,000 - 66,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to break down initiatives into capability-based changes.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex requirements into clear architectural guidance.
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams to align solutions.
  • Expertise in relevant areas such as CDP, analytics, decisioning, and personalisation.
  • Experience with the Adobe product suite is beneficial.
  • Experience contributing to architecture runway planning aligned with business and technical objectives.
  • Ability to engage in architecture governance processes and maintain principles, policies, and standards.
  • Strong communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with architecture, product, engineering, and business teams.
  • You must have the appropriate right to work in the UK.
  • A criminal record check will be required if your application is successful.
Responsibilities:
  • We drive solution architecture for a UK&I portfolio or platform, reporting to a Principal Solution Architect.
  • We work in Engineering Solutions as part of UK&I CTO on initiatives across customer engagement, sales, commerce, finance, CRM, fulfilment, service, assurance, and more.
  • We engage with enterprise and system architecture, product, and engineering teams to break down initiatives into capability change.
  • We distil complexity into clear architectural guidance.
  • We constructively challenge commercial and operational requirements and propose alternate approaches where they simplify the solution or delivery while still bringing value.
  • We role-model the capability-led approach to architecture and documentation, embedding its use in the team and demonstrating its value to peers and stakeholders.
  • We contribute to the capability model for our area.
  • We help build the architecture runway for our portfolio, informed by business and technical objectives and enterprise architecture strategy.
  • We work with peers and colleagues to strive for technical excellence, collaboration, and strong delivery.
  • We contribute to solution architecture governance and engage positively and effectively in the process.
  • We participate in enterprise governance forums when appropriate, balancing alignment with Group Architecture strategy with a pragmatic view that drives UK&I commercial and operational priorities.
