Network Security Engineer

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• We need someone willing to step up for on-call duties, including nights or weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional security, technology, and trading teams to design and deploy solutions that enhance system integrity and trading performance.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical trading infrastructure.
• Implement strategies to reduce network risks using micro-segmentation, port-based security, and other methods.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and implement network security solutions such as firewalls, network detect and response, intrusion prevention systems, and VPN concentrators.
• Leverage automation, AI, and other emerging technologies to improve detection and response to security events.
• Analyze network packet captures to investigate security incidents and identify areas for improvement.
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate tasks and streamline security operations.
