Rust Software Engineer

Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year

Requirements:

• Commercial experience developing software using Rust.
• Around five years software engineering experience.
• Experience across requirements, development and/or test.
• Exposure to safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of standards such as IEC 61508, EN 50128, ISO 26262, DEF STAN 00-55 or DO-178.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and software quality.
• UK working rights and the ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• We develop high-integrity software for safety-critical applications across industries including satellites, sub-modular reactors, aerospace, automotive, medical devices and life sciences.
• We contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements, development, integration, verification and validation.
• We work alongside software, systems and test engineers in a structured, technical and engineering-led environment.
• We maintain quality, traceability and compliance as fundamental parts of our work.
