Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require SC clearance for this secure environment.

• We require excellent interpersonal communication skills, a positive and engaging manner, and a high degree of customer service aptitude.
• We need demonstrable experience and fluent command of the English language.
• We require excellent organisational skills and the ability to troubleshoot remotely using a variety of toolsets.
• We are looking for at least 3 years of experience in an IT support organisation.
• We require a strong understanding of ITIL incident management, including upholding SLAs and communicating with customers.
• We need experience researching complex issues.
• We are looking for a self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service.
• We require a good understanding of network design and topology.
• We need hands-on experience of onsite delivery and working under pressure to deliver on time and to customer quality expectations.
• We require in-depth project delivery experience including compliance to strict MoD guidelines and standards.
• We need demonstrable configuration management experience.
• Desirable: LAN, WAN, 4G and WiFi Ethernet, Secure Ethernet, ADSL, FTTC, SOGEA, and understanding of core networks, circuit mapping, and VLANs.

Responsibilities:

• We provide on-site implementation and support for technical infrastructure for end user training systems within a secure environment.
• We advise and assist in solving problems related to hardware, networks, and peripherals using available technology.
• We analyse system needs and troubleshoot problems.
• We deploy updates and roll-outs.
• We use knowledge of customer estate topography, hardware, software, and operating systems.
• We understand customer goals and identify the consequences of various solutions.
• We develop project installation and escalation plans.
• We communicate technical solutions using basic explanations.
• We continuously use on-site customer visits and contacts to identify and report new business opportunities for business growth.
• We deliver software, hardware, and infrastructure projects ranging from changes to existing configurations through to complete new site deliveries.
• We work as part of a small team making decisions on complex business issues.
• We complete a wide variety of internal and customer-facing tasks.
• We support complex, bespoke client systems including training, audio/visual, networking, and telephony.
• We project the right image.
