Test Agent

Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Comfortable navigating different software packages for testing purposes or using them to test, including CRM, issue management, and Postman (API)
• Willing to learn different software and context-specific information for different clients
• Experience of the software development lifecycle
• Experience of software testing in an Agile environment, working closely with developers and product owners
• Experience writing testing strategies, test planning, acceptance criteria, logging faults, features and bugs, and documenting test cases for repeatability
• ISTQB certification in Software Testing or equivalent is desirable but not essential
• Writing SQL experience
• Automated testing experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing product testing in collaboration with software developers and product experts
• Work closely with the support team
• Manage the testing required to support fortnightly patch releases
• Work with the product team during development sprints to write and plan testing criteria for major product releases
• Use technical aptitude to work in and around IT systems
