CRM Data Migration Specialist

Requirements:

• Strong, demonstrable experience working with Blackbaud and its data structures.
• Experience extracting, manipulating and cleansing data.
• A good understanding of databases, tables, data fields and search criteria.
• Experience developing dashboards and management information, ideally across finance and/or fundraising.
• Experience improving existing data processes and identifying efficiencies.
• Power BI experience would be highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and make practical recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data quality.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Use import packages and Blackbaud functionality to pull and manage data within the system.
• Extract data from Blackbaud to support communications, reporting and targeted searches.
• Search and analyse data across multiple tables and against defined criteria.
• Undertake data cleansing and maintenance, particularly around codes and constituent activity.
• Develop and maintain dashboards covering finance and fundraising requirements.
• Review existing data processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and functionality.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Improve and develop data-pull processes to ensure information is accurate, accessible and fit for purpose.
• Where appropriate, use Power BI to create effective visualisations and dashboards using Blackbaud data.
• Provide general expertise and guidance on the effective use of Blackbaud data.

We are recruiting on behalf of a Cardiff-based client for an experienced Blackbaud Data & BI Specialist on a part-time contract basis. This is a 2-day-per-week role, with 7 hours per day, and the initial requirement is for a few months with potential for longer-term work. Working hours are flexible between 7am and 9pm, with core hours of 11am to 3pm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data professional with strong Blackbaud knowledge to make an immediate impact and help develop our data and reporting capability.
