IT Systems Integration Specialist

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in designing, building and supporting application and data integration platforms using the latest technologies.
• Proven experience using web services and APIs to access and integrate with external and internal systems.
• Experience working with a wide range of data sets and file formats.
• Experience working in a large-scale, complex computing environment, including day-to-day operational management of high volumes of projects and service releases.
• Experience analysing and translating business requirements into solution designs that can be understood by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to develop technical documentation to define and document systems, integration layers, procedures, and processes in a clear, coherent style.
• Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Java, C, and .NET.
• Experience with Talend and an API Management Gateway called Gravitee is welcomed.
• We are looking for an experienced integration specialist with in-depth experience of building and managing API-based integration services.

Responsibilities:

• Work within our Data Services division as part of a team responsible for the design, build, and implementation of new system integrations.
• Standardise existing integrations.
• Design, develop, and implement new standards-based integrations based on strategic and architectural principles.
• Identify technology innovations and investigate new features and products.
• Review existing integrations and identify opportunities for standardisation, streamlining, and improvement.
• Support an API-led approach to integrating systems across the organisation.
• Help facilitate initiatives that enable scalable connectivity, automation, streamlined processes, and reusable integrations.
