Technical Consultant (Infrastructure & DevOps)
Job Description
Salary: £67,000 - 107,000 per year
Requirements:- We have experience in an Architect role, including designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud-based solutions
- We can create technical specifications or architecture visions covering quality attributes, diagrams, associated risks, technical and system requirements
- We have experience leading teams of engineers, decomposing complex scenarios into tasks, mentoring the team, providing backup when needed, and communicating technical decisions effectively
- We have experience conducting pre-sales and executive-level presentations or workshops
- We demonstrate strong expertise with AWS Cloud and proven experience working with and configuring primary AWS PaaS/IaaS services
- We have experience working with on-premise platforms and sites, including Cisco ACI, NSO, and Cisco Hardware line
- We have experience working with the Cisco Networking stack
- We have experience working with Nvidia GPU stack and related products, including Nvidia AI Enterprise suite, NIM, and Nemo
- We can design CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS Developer Tools, GitLab, and Jenkins
- We have hands-on expertise with Kubernetes
- We have a solid background in Infrastructure as Code, including principles, tools, and best practices
- We have experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef
- We have knowledge of AI-driven application design
- We hold an AWS Solutions Architect certification, preferably Professional level
- We have experience working with other public clouds, such as GCP or Azure
- We have scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Shell
- We have experience deploying, monitoring, and administering SQL/NoSQL databases
- We work with clients to understand their business objectives and technology ecosystem so we can architect On-Premise, Cloud, and DevOps solutions that align with their needs
- We cooperate with sales and delivery teams to provide pre-sales support, including solution design, technical feasibility assessments, and effort estimation
- We lead the end-to-end solution design process, including requirements gathering, architectural analysis, and implementation planning
- We provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, guiding architectural decision-making, leading code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards
- We conduct technology assessments and provide recommendations on suitable frameworks, platforms, and tools to achieve desired business outcomes
- We identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges proactively throughout the project lifecycle
- We explore emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on client engagements and solution architectures
