Job Description

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:
  • SAC certification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to create complex system architecture, from designing a SAC solution to fit business functional requirements to proposing wider system landscape frameworks for data integrations
  • Understanding of SAC features and limitations
  • Understanding of leading practices for developing SAC models
  • Strong financial planning and consolidation knowledge
  • Full lifecycle project delivery experience, including build, test and deploy phases
  • Experience with workshop planning and delivery, requirements and backlog definition, data model design, Functional and Technical specifications, and system configuration
  • Hands-on project delivery experience with SAC capabilities including data integration and modelling, planning calculations, consolidation rules and dashboarding
  • Deep understanding of business finance processes and how SAC can support them
  • Understanding of the sales process from opportunity through delivery, with technical expertise to show how SAC can create client value
  • Demonstrable ability to manage large, complex programmes
  • Understanding of the full life cycle of SAC planning implementations, including project delivery and financial management
  • Experience working with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience delivering financial planning projects, especially complex SAC planning delivery
  • Experience designing complex SAC solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted adviser relationships
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven sales expertise
  • Willingness to travel as required for client site engagements
  • Understanding of the SAC Planning roadmap and industry trends
  • SAP analytics experience such as SAP BW, HANA, Datasphere or BDC
  • Experience with complex SAC planning delivery
  • Experience with SAP Group Reporting
  • Experience with SAP BPC or Integrated Planning
  • Industry or sector expertise would be advantageous
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a SAC project team on client-facing engagements across the full lifecycle delivery of large, complex technology programmes while managing project financials
  • Design complex planning and consolidation solutions that meet client requirements and align with leading practices
  • Engage and collaborate with client stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Build excellent client relationships and drive sales and market opportunities
  • Work as part of a high-performing team and mentor junior staff
