Requirements:- A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–9 years of hands-on experience in NoSQL database engineering, specifically with Apache Cassandra.
- Proficiency in keyspace and table design, replication strategies, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Linux administration, CQL, and cluster operations.
- Experience in regulated environments, with a strong understanding of security measures.
- Design and implement Cassandra keyspaces, data models, and cluster architecture for a high-throughput fraud detection platform.
- Collaborate closely with application and middleware teams to ensure seamless data integration and alignment with business goals.
- Take ownership of keyspace design, performance tuning, and operational readiness of the data platform.

This is a 6-month initial contract based in London, with 1 to 2 days per week onsite and a daily rate of up to £730 inside IR35 via umbrella.
