SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer / HVR Solution Architect

Requirements:

• Strong experience with HVR data replication and ingestion technologies
• Proven background designing solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience delivering data integration, landing zone and ingestion architectures
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and encrypted data transfer
• Experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Knowledge of data storage, lifecycle management and capacity planning
• Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
• Active SC Clearance required
• MOD, Defence or Government project experience
• Familiarity with security and governance processes including SbD, DEAB and MOD SOC
• Oracle Database and OCI networking expertise
• Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programmes
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Integration services and AI Data Platform solutions
• Candidates must hold an active MOD SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it

• Enable the migration of legacy Oracle data warehouse feeds into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Ensure data is transferred reliably and compliantly within a highly regulated environment
• Work across cloud architecture, data integration and security governance
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs)

We are recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer / HVR Solution Architect to join a major public sector cloud transformation programme. The role is hybrid, with a predominantly remote working pattern and occasional travel to London, Bristol and South East sites. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a competitive day rate of up to £671, offering the chance to work on a large-scale OCI cloud transformation project in complex, secure government environments. Additional security vetting is required, and onboarding may take longer than standard recruitment timescales due to enhanced clearance requirements.
