Solution Architect

Salary: £65,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with broad technical knowledge rather than deep specialism in a single discipline.
• We ideally want experience producing High-Level and Low-Level Solution Designs.
• We ideally want experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across applications, infrastructure and data.
• We ideally want experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• We ideally want experience in API design, systems integration and modern integration patterns.
• We ideally want experience with identity, security and architecture governance.
• We ideally want experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused technology solutions.
• We need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in digital infrastructure, connected technologies, operational systems or asset management environments would be advantageous, though not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality High-Level Designs (HLDs) and, where appropriate, detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
• Lead solution discovery activities and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Define integration approaches, APIs and data flows between enterprise platforms and business systems.
• Support architecture governance, technical design reviews and solution assurance activities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and operational support requirements.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, delivery teams and third-party suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture standards, best practice and reusable design patterns.
