Senior Android Developer

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDKs, with a deep understanding of Jetpack libraries, Compose and modern Android architecture components.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Familiarity with Android Studio, GitHub, mobile CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks and the Play store deployment process.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality Android applications in Agile environments.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with design systems and translating Figma or Sketch designs into pixel-perfect implementations.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (Firebase), crash reporting tools (Crashlytics), and user feedback loops.
• Understanding of mobile security best practices, GDPR compliance, and accessibility standards.
• Experience using backlog management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and working in cross-functional product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the Android version of the mobile app, ensuring a pixel-perfect and luxurious experience for customers.
• Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications.
• Ensure clean architecture and elegant code throughout the development process.
• Translate design specifications from Figma or Sketch into the Android app.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and mobile architecture patterns.
• Conduct automated testing and manage CI/CD processes for mobile development.
• Monitor application performance and adherence to best practices regarding security and compliance.
