3rd Line Support Team Leader

Salary: £30,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require you to have an MSP background and be used to the daily workload.
• We require at least 3 years experience in a managed service environment delivering IT support / 3rd line.
• We require strong Microsoft server, Azure, and endpoint management experience.
• We require advanced networking knowledge, including firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, network topologies, and ADVPN.
• We require knowledge of VOIP and telephony systems.
• We require security experience covering phishing response, incident escalation, vulnerability management, and Cyber Essentials.
• Industry-recognised certifications such as Microsoft, Fortinet, or CompTIA are advantageous.
• You must be free to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the service desk on a day-to-day basis.
• We manage incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests.
• We monitor, support, and manage all client services through the service desk.
• We perform server administration, Active Directory management, patching, and backup restoration.
• We lead network troubleshooting and advanced firewall configurations, including VPN and ADVPN.
• We handle VOIP deployments and advanced telephony configurations.
• We implement security best practices, monitor endpoint protection, and respond to incidents.
• We mentor and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and escalation guidance.
• We produce high-quality documentation, change control compliance, and technical guides.
