Senior Product Manager (m|w|d) Catalog Content

Millions of people use idealo to make confident purchase decisions every day. To do that, they rely on product images, specifications, test reports, and editorial content that is accurate, helpful, and trustworthy.

In this role, you'll shape how that content comes together — from AI-generated content at scale to expert-created content where it matters most. You'll define where automation delivers good content at sound unit economics, and where human expertise is worth the investment because it genuinely changes a user's confidence in their decision.

When a category page finally has the content it needs to convert, or when an AI-generated product description performs as well as an expert-written one at a fraction of the cost, you'll see the direct impact of your work.

About your new role

From product images, data sheets, and product texts to test reports, FAQs, pros & cons, and category glossaries, you'll continuously improve how this content is created, enriched, and maintained across millions of products. This includes owning the CMS that our Content and Editorial teams use to create and manage expert content.

Working closely with SEO, Content, Content Marketing, and Data/AI Engineering, you'll turn content and data quality into a product that scales — supporting both idealo's SEO performance and a genuinely helpful onsite experience across our international markets.

Your responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for idealo's catalog content — product images, data sheets, product and category texts, test reports, FAQs, pros & cons, and category glossaries.

• Build and evolve the CMS and tooling that our Content and Editorial teams use to create and maintain expert content at scale.

• Define and evolve the AI content pipeline, from generation to quality checks, in close collaboration with Data/AI Engineering.

• Decide where expert content creates the most value for users and where AI-driven content is the right tool for good unit economics, and translate that into clear prioritization.

• Discover, validate, and develop new content formats and features through product opportunity assessments, experimentation, and business case assessments.

• Ensure content strategy supports SEO performance and is well-integrated into a genuinely helpful onsite experience.

• Own the approach to translation and localization of content across idealo's international markets, balancing quality, speed, and cost.

Skills & Requirements

• You have several years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally working on content, catalog, CMS, or data-heavy consumer products.

• You have experience working with AI/ML-driven content generation and quality assurance at scale.

• You have experience running product discovery, validating opportunities and making prioritization decisions based on customer value, business impact and data.

• You have a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how content decisions affect organic performance.

• You are comfortable working with experimentation and analytics tools to validate hypotheses and measure product success.

• You take ownership and independently drive topics forward.

• You challenge assumptions respectfully and use data and reasoning to debate ideas, then fully commit once a decision is made.
