You identify problems before they're assigned, shape the methodology, and own the outcome. You'll drive how we price dynamically across millions of SKUs and act as a sparring partner on strategic decisions. In a small team, senior also means doing the hands-on work yourself. Your Responsibilities

• Dynamic Pricing Strategy & Methodology You own the development and continuous improvement of our dynamic pricing approaches. You maintain and update pricing rules and configurations in our systems — the strategic and the operational are both yours.

• Performance Monitoring You build and maintain monitoring, interpret results, and steer accordingly — including keeping dashboards current, pulling your own data, and handling ad-hoc stakeholder requests. 

• Project Ownership You own pricing projects from scoping to impact measurement, navigate cross-functional dependencies, and deliver. In larger programs, you represent the pricing perspective.

• Stakeholder Collaboration You're the go-to pricing contact for Sales, Marketing, Controlling, Product, and IT — and for management on strategic questions. Right detail, right framing, right audience.

• Knowledge Transfer You raise the analytical standard of the team, not just your own output.

Your skills

• 5+ years in analytical pricing, revenue management, or a data-intensive commercial role — ideally in e-commerce or retail

• Pricing tools / algorithmic systems: You interpret model outputs critically and know when to challenge them

• SQL, Python, and R are prerequisites — queries, large dataset analysis, automation

• Google Sheets or Excel at an advanced level — and you know when to move beyond them

• Tableau or Power BI: Findings that drive decisions, not just dashboards

• AI tools: Used to multiply output, evaluated critically

• Structured thinking under ambiguity — sound decisions even when data is imperfect

• Fluent German and English — including in high-stakes meetings

Nice to Have

Relevant experience that helps from day one:

• Background in the automotive aftermarket or spare parts industry
