Software Engineer (AWS & AI)
Job Description
Salary: £85,800 - 91,000 per year
Requirements:- Mid-to-senior level engineering experience, with the ability to get productive quickly and work with minimal hand-holding.
- Strong engineering judgement, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong cloud engineering experience, particularly with AWS.
- Comfortable with core cloud concepts including compute, networking, storage, databases, queues, IAM, and observability.
- A genuine DevOps mindset: you build it, test it, ship it, and own it.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience working with LLMs and AI APIs.
- Understanding of prompt design, evaluation, and AI workflow orchestration.
- Nice to have: experience with Laravel / PHP.
- Nice to have: Flutter / Dart experience.
- Nice to have: experience in an early-stage or rapidly scaling technology team.
- Nice to have: previous experience building software for healthcare or other regulated environments.
- Help build and evolve healthcare technology products.
- Work on software that supports clinical workflows and healthcare communications.
- Contribute to products that manage and streamline clinical referral and order-communication processes, with a focus on diagnostic workflows.
- Develop AI-driven products for clinical workflows using technologies such as LLMs, AI APIs, and workflow orchestration.
- Work across established clinical communications products and a growing portfolio of AI-driven solutions.
- Take ownership of functionality end to end, from initial idea or problem through to production and ongoing operation.

We are a HealthTech company building software that supports clinical workflows and healthcare communications. Our existing products help healthcare organisations manage and streamline clinical referral and order-communication processes, with a particular focus on diagnostic workflows. We are also developing AI-driven products for clinical workflows using technologies such as LLMs, AI APIs, and workflow orchestration to automate or improve parts of clinical processes. This is a 6 month contract role, outside IR35, working remotely with onsite time in Dublin once a quarter. The rate is €380 to €400 per day. This is a hands-on, generalist role where you will work across established products and new AI-driven solutions.
