Software Developer

Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience developing and supporting modern web applications
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and/or Java development
• Essential development skills in C# and/or Java
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Desirable experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes administration
• Desirable experience with containerised applications, Docker/Linux containers and Azure Container Registry (ACR)
• Desirable experience with Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, private/public endpoints, Application Gateway, load balancers, DNS, firewalls and NSGs
• Desirable experience with React
• Desirable experience with Azure Cosmos DB / MongoDB, Azure Service Bus, HCL Domino, SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Desirable experience with mobile application development
• Desirable experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights
• Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management
• A-Level or equivalent preferred
• 2 years of software development experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Work on an innovative, cloud-based HR software platform
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of analysts, designers and developers
• Present new ideas for system improvements
• Test software in controlled, real situations before going live
• Provide daily and weekly feedback on development sprint progress
• Provide support for leading organisations pre- and post-live
