IPS Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £58,701 - 58,701 per year
Requirements:- Understanding and experience of ILS (DEF STAN 00-600 and JSP 886) and support functions within major projects.
- Understanding of support-related analysis techniques.
- Experience of using a Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).
- Spares modelling experience using OPUS 10 is desirable.
- Apply understanding of a range of ILS processes, tools, systems and techniques to review and analyse supplier data, components or systems.
- Develop solutions to common or well-articulated ILS support situations, problems and issues.
- Apply proven techniques and procedures to understand support requirements and develop solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues and problems for a range of ILS support-related situations.
- Coach and mentor other ILS support engineers and communicate technical support matters effectively.
- Work with a degree of technical autonomy while demonstrating commitment to professional ILS principles and values.
- Support NATO Codification activities and work collaboratively with all workstreams to ensure effective integration and delivery.
