Graduate IT & Network Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - 34,000 per year

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cyber Security, or a closely related subject
• Hands-on knowledge and experience of networking or systems gained through coursework, a placement, or projects
• Strong communication skills and a clear interest in infrastructure and cyber security
• Right to work in the UK
• Useful additional knowledge or qualifications include Microsoft 365, Windows, Cisco Meraki, CLI/SSH, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, CCNA, or Network+
• A full UK driving licence is useful

Responsibilities:

• Support IT infrastructure, servers, backups, and the site network
• Maintain Windows systems and provide Microsoft 365 support
• Work with switches, firewalls, print servers, laptops, and desktops
• Assist with installations, upgrades, and user support on site and remotely
• Work with international teams via Microsoft Teams
• Support reporting, databases, and IT security good practice

We are recruiting for our client, a large manufacturing company in Wrexham, for a permanent, on-site Graduate IT & Network Engineer role. The salary is £28,000–£34,000. This role offers the opportunity to join a large company and receive training that builds on knowledge gained through a relevant degree.
