Job Description

Salary: £60,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering and transformation delivery.
  • We require an AWS cloud architecture certification at Associate or Professional level.
  • We require strong expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures, including designing secure, scalable and resilient solutions.
  • We require experience designing cloud architectures and supporting cloud migration or modernisation initiatives.
  • We require experience defining target architectures, platform capabilities and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • We require a strong understanding of platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
  • We require experience implementing cloud security, governance and resilience controls in enterprise environments.
  • We require experience leading small teams or workstreams and delivering solutions to time, cost and quality expectations.
  • We require the ability to build strong client stakeholder relationships and provide architectural guidance to delivery teams.
  • We require strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess risks and identify pragmatic solutions.
  • We require a good understanding of cloud financial management principles and cost-effective cloud delivery.
  • We require experience in client-facing consulting environments and delivering business value through technology.
  • We require experience supporting and mentoring engineers and junior team members.
  • We require active SC clearance. Employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance. Applicants must have been resident in the UK for the last five years and must not have spent more than six consecutive months outside the UK during that period.
  • Desirable: public sector or regulated industry experience, such as government, healthcare or financial services.
  • Desirable: experience across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Desirable: hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep.
  • Desirable: experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Desirable: experience designing and implementing cloud landing zones and platform engineering capabilities.
  • Desirable: a strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, security and resilience patterns.
  • Desirable: experience supporting cloud engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering teams.
  • Desirable: additional public cloud architecture certifications in Azure or GCP.
  • Desirable: experience using AI or agentic techniques, such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Desirable: familiarity with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation frameworks.

  • We design scalable, secure and resilient cloud solutions for our clients, supporting digital transformation through modern architecture, platform engineering and DevOps practices.
  • We help clients adopt, modernise and optimise cloud platforms, delivering secure, scalable and cost-effective solutions in public sector and regulated environments.
  • We shape architectures, advise clients and lead small teams or workstreams while remaining close to delivery.
  • We define target architectures, platform capabilities and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • We support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives and help improve delivery outcomes through AI-enabled tooling and modern engineering practices.
  • We provide architectural guidance to delivery teams, assess risks and identify pragmatic solutions.
  • We support and mentor engineers and junior team members.
