Architecture & Assurance Lead (Cyber Recovery)

Requirements:

• Senior Enterprise, Infrastructure, Security, or Recovery Architect experience
• Proven delivery of Cyber Recovery, Disaster Recovery, Resilience, or Business Continuity programmes
• Strong architecture governance and assurance experience
• Experience in complex multi-supplier environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to provide independent technical leadership and challenge
• TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalent certifications are desired
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Governance
• Knowledge of Cyber Recovery and Operational Resilience
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP)
• Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Architecture

Responsibilities:

• Define, govern, and assure the target Cyber Recovery Architecture
• Provide architecture governance and technical oversight across programme workstreams
• Conduct solution assurance and design reviews
• Identify technical risks, gaps, and dependencies, and drive mitigation plans
• Challenge suppliers and stakeholders to ensure best-practice recovery and resilience outcomes
• Work closely with architecture, security, infrastructure, operations, and third-party suppliers
• Provide executive-level reporting and architectural guidance

This is a hybrid role, with three days a week on site and two days working from home. The role provides independent technical leadership, governance, and assurance across a strategic, business-critical Cyber Recovery programme. We are seeking a senior architect with strong cyber resilience and recovery expertise who can help ensure solutions, suppliers, and technologies support a resilient, end-to-end recovery capability aligned with business, security, and operational recovery objectives.
