Principal Product Manager (Public Sector)
Job Description
Salary: £28,000 - 51,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive vertical knowledge of Product Management, with strong knowledge of User Experience, Agile, and Programme Assurance disciplines.
- In-depth experience in at least two major business verticals, including Public Sector.
- Experience in at least two business application environments.
- Strong C-level stakeholder communication and relationship-building experience, including coaching and mentoring clients.
- Broad business and technology understanding, with awareness of industry trends.
- Demonstrable experience delivering as part of an Agile team.
- Experience in line management or coaching.
- Ability to facilitate large stakeholder groups and drive focused outcomes.
- Ability to plan and lead consulting engagements from initiation through completion.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business and project dynamics.
- Demonstrated adaptability to embrace and lead in new disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain, persuade, and justify decisions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into cost-effective functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work flexibly and meet tight deadlines in uncertain, fast-changing environments.
- Strong team management skills, including managing a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to manage, mentor, and coach team members and the wider community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of stakeholders.
