Enterprise Architect

Salary: £85,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Significant experience operating as an Enterprise Architect within a complex environment.
• Strong background in technology strategy and enterprise-wide technology planning.
• Experience defining target architectures and technology roadmaps.
• Broad knowledge across cloud platforms, AI and emerging technologies, data and analytics, integration architecture, security and identity, and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into practical technology direction.

Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve our enterprise architecture principles, standards and operating models.
• Develop target-state architecture across applications, data, infrastructure and digital platforms.
• Influence our technology strategy and long-range technology planning.
• Support major investment decisions with architectural insight and commercial awareness.
• Review significant programmes and initiatives to ensure alignment with future-state objectives.
• Drive platform simplification, rationalisation and technology lifecycle planning.
• Help shape our approach to AI adoption and emerging technology opportunities.
• Work across cloud, integration, security and data domains to create a coherent enterprise technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering and delivery teams to support transformation programmes.
• Engage senior leadership teams on technology opportunities, risks and strategic options.
