Cloud Security Architect

Salary: £100,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience in cloud security architecture and design
• Experience with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with secure cloud governance and operating models
• Experience with DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD security
• Experience with Zero Trust security principles
• Experience with threat modelling and security architecture reviews
• Experience with cloud networking, identity and access management, application and data security
• Experience with security automation and orchestration
• Relevant cloud security certifications in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Be a sole UK national
• Hold active SC (Security Check) clearance
• Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years

Responsibilities:

• Design secure cloud architectures for public, private and hybrid cloud environments
• Develop cloud security strategies and enterprise security use cases
• Create security reference architectures and governance models
• Support the design and deployment of secure cloud infrastructure
• Embed security throughout the cloud lifecycle using Secure by Design principles
• Conduct threat modelling and architecture reviews
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate secure cloud solutions across hybrid IT environments
• Implement security automation, orchestration and DevSecOps practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues and clients

We are a leading cybersecurity consulting practice recruiting for an experienced Cloud Security Architect Consultant to join our team. We deliver secure cloud solutions across government and highly regulated environments, supporting complex cloud transformation programmes across public, private and hybrid platforms. This is a hybrid role based across UK client sites, our office and home-based working, with a salary of up to £100,000 - £110,000 base plus package and a 5-10% bonus.
